Our Vets

After James graduated from the University of Queensland, he enjoyed life as a mixed practice vet, treating large and small animals of all shapes and sizes. In 2007, James took over the directorship of the Albert Animal Hospital, where he now takes pleasure in all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery, with a particular interest in ultrasonography. James’s dedication to his patients and their owners can be seen in his willingness to go above and beyond every time.
When James is not in the clinic, he enjoys caring for his chickens at home or camping and exploring Australia with his wife and two kids.

Jason has been part of the team at Albert Animal Hospital for over 10 years. Considering the clinic to be his second home, Jason has established wonderful long-lasting relationships with many of his patients and their parents. Jason has been lucky enough to experience so many advances in the last 30 years of his career, particularly noticing improved access to tools that allow for better diagnostics, helping our patients back to good health more quickly. Although Jason enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, he has a keen interest in surgery and dentistry. Even after 30 years Jason is still learning and improving what he does with the support of the team.
Outside of work, Jason likes to fish, dabble in bird photography and relax at home with his 2 cats, 2 dogs and his finch aviary.
