On the second day of Christmas, Little Elf, a 10 year old tabby, came in to see Dr Vic. Little Elf had not been jumping up on the back of the couch like she always did, instead she would rather sleep on an old cushion on the floor. She was reluctant to play and was a bit cranky. Her owner thought this was not like her usual Little Elf and thought it best to get her looked at. Dr Vic thoroughly checked her over and discovered Little Elf was suffering from osteoarthritis. Dr Vic gave Little Elf an injection of an anti-inflammatory medication and some powder to put in her food at home. This will help Little Elf get back to her old happy self, ready for the grandchildren to arrive tomorrow!
