Veterinary Dentistry

August 18, 2017

Vets are all-rounders - they are general practitioners, surgeons, pathologists, pharmacists, counsellors AND dentists!

Veterinary dentistry can only be performed under general anaesthesia. The teeth are first charted, then scaled with an ultrasonic scaler, polished, then the gums are flushed with an antibacterial wash to remove any residual bacteria in the mouth.

If your pet needs dental care, contact our clinic on 3208 9233. If you book in during Dental Month in August you could be in the running for fantastic prize!
